In the Beginning...
Once upon a time a very young girl was sitting in the free seats at The MUNY watching a production of Tom Sawyer. The girl noticed all the kids on stage painting the fence and looking like they were having a great time. The girl leaned over and asked her mother how all those kids got on stage. The girl's mother said, "Well, I guess they tried out. Do you want to be on stage?" The girl nodded an emphatic "Yes!". Just a few years later, the girl made her MUNY debut in The Wizard of Oz; and the rest, as they say, is history.
